AEU Planning Groups – ensuring quality and relevance
AEU brings together university staff and promotes networking, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across Danish universities. Central to this work are our Planning Groups – groups of university professionals and specialists who contribute their expertise at various levels to AEU’s activities.
The Planning Groups play a key role in ensuring high quality, based on their professional knowledge and practical experience. Depending on the type of activity, members may be involved in designing sessions, developing materials, or providing expert input to programme content.
Participation in a Planning Group offers significant professional benefits:
- Competence development: Contributing to AEU activities helps develop skills in planning, collaboration, and knowledge communication.
- Networking: Members connect with colleagues across universities and sectors, building valuable professional relationships.
- Professional recognition: Involvement in developing and delivering AEU activities is a strong addition to one’s CV and professional profile.
Each member coordinates with their manager regarding:
- The ability to participate in the group,
- The scope and manner of their contribution, and
- Whether any honorarium is transferred to their department or paid directly to the member.
Joining a Planning Group is an excellent opportunity to develop competencies, expand networks, and gain recognition for contributing to quality and relevance in sector-wide continuing education.
